Q Which areas do you cover?
A I live in Maidenhead
(Berkshire) and cover anywhere within an
hour of my location.
Q Do you come to my home on the
day?
A Yes if you live (or your
venue) is within the specified areas. I
can travel to you for your trial and on
the day of your wedding.
Q How soon before the wedding should
I book a trial?
A Due to volume of enquiries, it
is wise to have a trial as soon as possible;
most bookings are taken at least 2 months
before.
Q Which cosmetics do you use?
A I use a selection of make-up
including M.A.C. , Chanel , Smashbox, Benefit
and Clinique. If you have sensitive skin
or have experienced problems with any of
the cosmetics listed above, please let me
know as soon as possible.
Q What if you are ill on my wedding
day?
A In this unlikely event, I have
a circle of friends who are hair/make-up
artists and every endeavour would be made
to find someone to visit you. However, if
for any reason this was not possible, you
would be given a full refund including your
deposit.
Q How can I secure my wedding date
in your diary?
A I can secure a date in my diary
on receipt of a £50 deposit. Most
brides prefer to secure their booking at
the trial in order to avoid disappointment.
Q When should I pay the final
balance?
A The balance is payable
on your the wedding day. Sorry, I am unable
to accept credit cards but cheques or cash
is fine!
Q What if I decide to cancel my
booking?
A You must notify me of
cancellation at least two months before
your wedding. Please note that deposits
are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Q Should my make-up be done after
my hair is styled?
A Yes, it is best
to have your make-up done last so it still
looks fresh.
Q How long does it take to do my
make-up on the day?
A It varies but on average
it takes about thirty minutes to do your
make-up. If you have a large party for an
11.30-12.pm wedding, it may be necessary
to start very early in the morning!
Q What if I need to re-touch my
make-up during the day?
A Your make-up has been
applied to last all day, however I always
recommend all my brides to purchase the
lipgloss that I will apply on them on their
wedding day.
Q How many people can you 'do'
on the wedding day?
A It depends on what time
does your wedding starts, if your wedding
starts at
11.30 – 12 pm, I might be able to
do about 5 people. I bring along an assistant
for larger parties. I will be able to discuss
this with you at your trial run.
